West End variety theatre, designed by Thomas Verity. The aim is to create an innovative brand identity that embraces history, while standing out from independent film competitors. Targeted to people with an old soul aesthetic, so that they can experience their passion for films during a unique cinematic experience.
Brand values are community, passion and innovation.

Fresh brand concept and modern UI design for an outdated cinema chain based
in London, UK. The new identity is a contemporary take on nostalgia, appealing to people with an old soul aesthetic and lifestyle. Cinemas can make us feel the most expansive definition of what it means to be human, both complex and generous;
linked with identity & culture. The main goal was to create an emotional connection with the cinema visitors, through a bold and memorising color palette, and creating movement through the logo and chosen typography. Through this brand identity, you can perceive of cinema as a small library - online and digital, that you can take anywhere. Movies provide transcendence engagement with our world, and they help us feel we belong to something big, and something wonderful.
